The Westin Baltimore Washington Airport - BWI

Our flight from Maine was delayed due to weather and Baltimore was our layover city. The airline re-booked us on another flight late the next evening and we had to find a place to sleep. We were unprepared and knew nothing about Baltimore or the airport. We chose Westin when we heard other passengers talking about staying there. We booked online for the night, and took Westin's free shuttle from the airport. We had slept at a VRBO in Maine for a week, where the bed had a hard, thin, mattress. The bed at the Westin was comfy and we commented that it was the best sleep we'd had all week. As far as noise was concerned, yes, it's near the airport, but they provided enough ambient sound and insulation to where we didn't even hear the planes. Also, the airline had our checked bags, so all we had was what we put in our carry-ons. We were lacking some essentials, so my husband asked the front desk for a toothbrush and toothpaste and was given a goodie bag that included toothbrushes, toothpaste, extra toiletries, and even a roll of toilet paper! Very nice. We had breakfast there the next morning and it was very good with excellent service.

We love the Westin for staycations we we need alone time and a quick night away from the kids. Typically the accommodations are always clean, you can smell the detergent in the sheets lol the location and value for your money makes it worth it

The BED was amazing!!! Best bed I have ever slept in. Loved the drinks at the bar. Pricey, but worth it.

Very attentive and caring hotel staff. Lady behind me had an epileptic seizure at the check in desk. Everyone was so caring and willing to help the poor woman. They called 911 immediately and stayed on the phone passing along tips for attending to the woman until the ambulance arrived. Empathy and compassion was demonstrated by the staff and they all reacted brilliantly/calmly to a crisis situation.

property was clean, beds were super comfortable. Rooms are bigger than average.
